Middle School
The Bet Shraga Middle School faculty is committed to the highest academic standards in both Judaic and General Studies. The middle school experience begins in fifth grade, where students are gradually introduced to middle school life and evolve into more independent learners as the year progresses.
The middle school experience emphasizes critical thinking skills and employs traditional as well as project-based learning in all subject areas. From the outdoor education program for sixth graders at the Teva Nature Learning Center to the eight grade two-week trip to Israel, our middle school curriculum is rich in opportunities for learning, exploration and expression. Beth Shraga Middle School offers many academic activities, including science labs, stock market program, student newspaper, computer labs and math club, allowing our students to experience academic growth that will serve them in their adult lives.
The rigorous academic curriculum at Bet Shraga Middle School allows our graduates to enter high school in honors and accelerated programs; many will have already completed their Math, Earth Science and Hebrew Regents high school credits.
