The decision about the educational program a family provides for their children clearly merits thought and deliberation. At Bet Shraga Hebrew Academy, we welcome inquiries from families who wish to provide their children with the best the Capital District has to offer in secular and Judaic studies, set in a nurturing environment infused with Jewish values. Jewish families from all affiliations are welcome at the Bet Shraga Hebrew Academy. Our common denominator is an interest in a high quality education as well as a strong grounding in the richness of Jewish life.
All applicable admissions forms are available for download.
Following the tour and meeting, we will work with you to schedule a time for your child(ren) to spend some time at our school. Entering Kindergartners meet with teachers and peers for approximately one hour. Entering First through Eighth graders spend several hours in their present grade with their peers.
Admission decisions are made by a committee consisting of the Principal and appropriate faculty. Accepted students will be offered an Enrollment Contract.

Graduated Tuition Plan
Our Graduated Tuition Plan allows families new to Hebrew Academy to experience Hebrew Academy’s dual curriculum, dedicated teachers, and student-focused learning while at the same time taking advantage of greatly reduced tuition rates for K-5th grade. Over the course of 2-4 years, each family’s investment in their children’s education increases in manageable increments. Please download the Graduated Tuition Plan Information Sheet above for more details about this plan.
All families participating in the Graduated Tuition Plan are also eligible for additional aid through our need-based Tuition Assistance Program.
