A New Era of Excellence Rooted in Tradition

Dear Parents,

This week in Ivrit, the focus was continuing to learn the alef-bet using various games and manipulatives. From dot to dots, to giving each child a card with a letter on it and having them put themselves in alphabetical order, to working in their Tal Am workbooks.

We also spent part of our week making our own individual calendars for daily use.

This week’s parasha is called Parashat Naso. We learned about Bnai Yisrael bringing gifts to the Mishkan and the blessings of the Kohanim.

Midrash of the Week: Why was Moshe the only one to hear Hashem’s voice in the Mishkan?

•             He was the special one

•             Maybe because Moshe’s ears were not broken but everyone else’s ears were broken

•             Because he’s listening very well

•             Because he is the leader of the Hebrews

•             Maybe Hashem made it so only Moshe can hear it

To the Parents of the older Parparim:

Please remember to return your child’s siddur cover on Monday. I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 8:15 AM.

Shabbat Shalom,

Morah Chana and RIna
