Please check your child’s backpack today. Your child is bringing home his/her popcorn plant. The Parparim were able to see the roots and the popcorn sprout over the course of two weeks. The mustard seeds that were planted in a sponge sprouted as well. The lima bean plants were not as fortunate.
Parparim have begun a unit on Purim. The block area is under construction, while the ’castle’ in being renovated. Costumes have filled the room, while Purim songs can be heard in the background. Both Hebrew an English stories are in our classroom library.
The Parparim will continue to learn about the customs and rituals of Purim upon our return from vacation.
Shabbat Shalom and have a wonderful vacation,
Morah Chana and Rina
