Our Community
The Capital District of New York State is a vibrant Jewish Community conveniently located at the crossroads of New York City, Boston and Montreal. The Jewish Federation of Northeastern New York supports and encourages innovative and varied opportunities for Jewish learning throughout the community, fostering a rich Jewish community and identity.
Faculty and staff are chosen for their knowledge and understanding in their fields, their warmth and sensitivity to children and their ability to relate to children and impart a love of learning. Our teachers are dedicated and experienced, always bringing fresh, new and exciting methods of teaching to the classroom.
Bet Shraga supports the professional growth and development of its faculty in current teaching methods and best practices. Teachers attend workshops and unique education programs in the United States and Canada.
