The Role of The Board
The Bet Shraga Board of Trustees safeguards the mission of the school through broad policy decisions. The Board is accountable for the financial well-being of the school and ensures the school's financial stability through responsible budgeting, asset management, tuition setting and fund-raising. The Board plans for the school's future needs through strategic planning, yearly goal setting, and through hiring, supporting and evaluating a Head of School. The Board sets goals for itself, conducts ongoing Board training and evaluates its own performance. Parents and guardians of current students are members of the school and can participate in the election of trustees.
